It was signing day for the committed NCAA athletes on the Team BC U18 Women's Field Lacrosse team on Friday and what an incredible day it was.

An extra special congratulations to our Bellies Brooklyn Sverdrup, Kaylee Schumacher, Zola LeDonne, Maddie Macleod, Margaret Galloway, Saskia Aunger, Ema Ulinder and Elisha Lowes. Your future is bright and we're so incredibly proud of you. We can't wait to see what the next chapter holds. Also congratulations to Coach Tyler for leading and inspiring these phenomenal women for years.

Holiday season is here and with that comes gift giving and supporting your favourite non-profits.
Luckily, we can help you do both things at once!

Our friends at Steel & Oak are once again supporting the Minor Bellies with an awesome fundraiser. This time it’s for a Holiday Gift Basket!

What’s in the basket you may ask?

(1) Six Pack of Bellies Next Gen Lager
(1) Bomber of Smoked Honey Dopplebock
(1) can of Megalith Barley Wine
(1) S&O Glass
(2) Beer on Me Cards (Donated by Steel & Oak)

Baskets will be delightfully packaged up by the Steel & Oak elves, ready for holiday gifting and consuming.

Ten dollars from EVERY gift basket sold will be going to the Minor Bellies organization thanks to the generous support of Steel & Oak who donated the Beer on Me Gift Cards for this fundraiser. Thank you for supporting the NEXT GENERATION OF FISH! This is the New West way. Community supporting community.

Order by December 6 for pick up on December 10 and after. On December 10th, members of the Bellies Board and volunteers will be raising a glass at Steel & Oak to thank them for all their support. Come join us!

About last weekend. We had four phenomenal teams p

About last weekend. We had four phenomenal teams playing at the @richmondroadrunners Richmond Romp. U11 coed, U13T2 coed, U15T2 coed and U18T2 coed. All four teams played fiercely in the sometimes damp weather and two of our teams came home with medals.

Congratulations to U13T2 for bringing home the silver and U15T2 for bringing home the gold!

It was fabulous to see so many Bellies teams on the field, playing hard and cheering each other on over the weekend. Bellies family for life.

We also had youth coaches playing and coaching, older brothers coaching younger siblings, parents coaching their kids and non parent coaches spending their weekends inspiring the Next Generation of Fish. We are nothing without this incredible team of leaders and volunteers. Extra special shout out to Tysen Nielsen who coached U11 AND U13 all weekend.

Thank you players and coaches for making us so proud.
