Finances should not be a barrier to getting in the game of lacrosse. Check out these organizations whose purpose is to provide financial assistance to help all kids play sports:
KidSport™ Canada
KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process they provide grants “So All KidsCan Play”.
Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities
Jumpstart’s core purpose is to enrich the lives of kids in financial need through sports and physical activity. The Jumpstart Electronic Application is an online application that a Parent/Guardian can use to submit a request for funding to Jumpstart on behalf of their child/children age 4-18.
Athletics for Kids
Athletics for Kids provides funding assistance to ensure all British Columbia children, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to youth amateur sport.
Players who qualify for funding may contact our VP of Equipment at equipment@minorbellies.com to learn about our funding assistance program for lacrosse equipment. If these organizations cannot help you play, please reach out to us. We want to remove all financial barriers to get all kids in the game.
