NWMLA is always on the lookout for great coaches! If you have coached before or are interested in coaching during the 2015 box lacrosse season please fill out the coaches application form. Scan and send completed forms to headcoach@minorbellies.com ASAP. All training is covered by NWMLA and no prior experience is necessary.
The Warrior Regulator and Cascade Model R lacrosse helmets are no longer compliant with policy since NOCSAE recently voided their certification . A fix is now available to the Cascade Model R to meet recertification. Please read this Technical Bulletin issued by the CLA and this bulletin from the BCLA if you have one of these two helmets.
The Vancouver Stealth in partnership with the BCLA are offering BCLA athletes the opportunity to participate in Vancouver Stealth Game Day activities. Prior to specific Vancouver Stealth home games this season, there will be Box Lacrosse skill sessions for all athletes. Each of the following Minor Box Lacrosse Skills Sessions is $40.00/participant and includes a $27 ticket voucher for the arena bowl Upper End Zone sections at any Stealth home game, one game-day item to be signed by Stealth players and a tour of the Stealth dressing room which includes photo opportunities of players stalls. Have your say on the proposed development of an off-leash dog area in Moody Park. The lacrosse executive is looking for support from the membership against Option C. This location is adjacent to the lacrosse box between the box and Eight St. The potential for lacrosse balls entering the dog park and the additional noise make it an unsuitable location.
